I wondered like many why Natural African American Hair is ignored or shunned… By major chain salons, advertisers, magazine covers, photo shoots, T.V., infomercials, product lines.

The answer finally became clear. Our voice isn’t loud enough to be heard. Heavily Rooted was officially born in 2010 as a way to bring the Natural Hair community together, to give us a voice.  There are many web sites out there dedicated to this same purpose, but no real organizations that support and advance the African American natural hair community.

Online Store

In addition to networking, we also host an online store dedicated to those who are interested in natural alternatives; not just hair styles, but products catered for us, by us.  We focus on delivering exceptional quality to our customers.  As far as our products are concerned, we only carry the most popular and well-respected brands.  To guarantee this quality, we seek to personally review all of the products sold.  We also invite you, the customer to voice yours in the form of product reviews!
